With its location less than 12 miles from Maine’s largest community, this beautiful lake is a rare gem bordered by the Towns of Falmouth, Windham and Westbrook, it serves as a year-round home to many shorefront homeowners. The lake is 640 acres with a perimeter of 8.5 miles and a maximum depth of 67 feet. Highland Lake is fed by springs and streams and has above average water quality.
The lake offers some great sport fishing with fishery type being both coldwater and warmwater. So, whether you are in a boat trolling deeper water or fishing off the shores you are sure to have a good time.
For loon enthusiasts, the population is growing on Highland Lake with birds arriving just after ice is out and nesting in the south end of the lake.
