Stay tuned as we continue our journey towards bringing this vibrant community to life, offering you the perfect place to call home.

First Foundations for “The Portland”

The construction of "The Portland" style units marks a significant milestone in our development process. Having these foundations set prior to this winter underscores our commitment to delivering these lakeside homes in a timely manner. The Portland model offers a seamless blend of modern design and comfort, with a spacious primary bedroom, cathedral ceilings and open concept living area. As the foundations set, we prepare to move quickly to the next phase of construction ensuring we stay ahead of schedule.

Framing Begins for Units 17-18

Following the successful backfill of these foundations, our skilled construction team is now ready to erect the framework that will define these elegant residences. Framing is a pivotal stage, as it shapes the structure and offers a preview of the homes' final form. Each frame is built with precision, ensuring both durability and energy efficiency. Having these framed ensure that buyers can reserve a unit and immediately start customizing their finishes.

Siding and Roof Completion

We’ve made consistent progress on the exteriors of six units so far. The siding, selected for its durability and visual appeal, enhances the community’s aesthetic while providing essential protection against Maine’s dynamic climate. This phase not only strengthens the structural integrity of the homes but also adds to the neighborhood’s charm, creating a unified look throughout the community. As we complete these exterior elements, our attention will shift to the interior, where our commitment to precision and detail will continue.

Phase 1 Binder Coat Update

The application of the binder coat for all of Phase 1 at The Cove at Highland Lake marks a significant advancement in our infrastructure development. This layer serves as a foundational precursor to the final paving, ensuring a smooth and durable surface for roads and driveways within the community. As we move forward, this progress reflects our dedication to creating a seamless living environment that prioritizes both convenience and aesthetic appeal. These developments are integral to fostering a well-connected, inviting Maine retirement community where new homes blend harmoniously with thoughtfully designed infrastructure.

Septics and Water Meter Installation

The completion of septic systems and water meter installations at The Cove at Highland Lake is a fundamental step in our infrastructure efforts. Ensuring efficient water management and waste disposal systems is crucial for maintaining the community's sustainability and functionality. Properly installed septic systems ensure environmentally responsible waste management, while water meters allow for accurate monitoring and billing of water usage, promoting conservation and cost-effectiveness. Each completed infrastructure component brings us closer to a fully operational and welcoming environment for all residents.
